If you’re looking to see where we rank Louisiana-Lafayette offensive lineman Robert Hunt, you can go ahead and stop: We haven’t ranked him in our On the Clock big board.

At least not yet.

Hunt has made a name for himself with his solid play for Louisiana-Lafayette, with 45 starts and counting.

The hard work finally paid off when the 6-foot-5, 322-pound senior earned an invite to the Senior Bowl.

Just how impressive is Hunt? Here’s what Senior Bowl Director Jim Nagy had to say on Twitter:

“Robert Hunt was the only player in the initial 81-man Reese’s Senior Bowl invite list that our staff didn’t see play live in a game. That’s how much we liked his tape!“

Less than 48 hours later, Hunt moved up to No. 3 in ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper’s guard rankings.

And therein lies one of the dilemmas with Hunt: Where do you play him, tackle or guard?

Fansided’s Dan Matney was ahead of the curve last month when he called Hunt “one of the biggest under-the-radar prospects” in the upcoming draft, adding that he will likely need to switch to guard at the next level.

“He’ll likely need to adjust to a new position at the next level, but Hunt has a legitimate shot at being a mid-round steal for the right team,” Matney writes.
