Hey, Jonny and Carter here. Quick personal update on where the site stands as of the 2027 launch.
Laying the Foundation
We had to lay the foundation. The entire site had to be rebuilt: backend, data pipelines, auth, the React apps, the homepage, all of it. It took longer than expected. We're sorry about the wait. The good news is that the new foundation makes everything we ship from here a lot faster to build, and it's the reason the roadmap below is realistic instead of aspirational.
What Just Shipped
- 2027 college data is fully wired up. Rosters, positions, big boards, the works.
- Mobile drag + swipe fixes in the big boards editor. The tab-swipe bug that killed reordering on phones is gone.
- Free-tier limit clarified. 3 boards for free accounts, with a clear upgrade path inside the editor.
- Player stat tables redesigned to be more dense and readable on mobile.
Known Issues
- The big boards editor on mobile occasionally jitters when you drag a tile across an auto-scroll boundary. We dialed back the autoscroll aggression in the last release; it's better but not perfect.
- A few featured boards still have legacy slug formats. They'll show up correctly but may be slow to render the first time.
- Player modal stats are CFBD-driven, so a handful of advanced metrics (passer rating, QB pressure data) aren't surfaced yet. On the list.
What We're Working On
In rough priority order:
- New NFL & NCAAF pages with team data, aggregates, schedule context, scheme tendencies, and per-player season breakdowns.
- Better leaderboards. User statistics, player statistics, and team statistics. The kind of thing where you can dig in for an hour and not run out of angles.
- A new interface for On The Clock and site navigation. The draft tool deserves a fresh look, and the site chrome should stop feeling like five products glued together.
- Manage The Cap and Season Simulator. Both are getting the same foundation work the rest of the site just went through, with new features layered on top.
- Much, much more. Watchlists, scouting reports, smarter trade UX. The wishlist is long and we're chipping away.
