A former consensus four-star recruit from Dallas who helped lead South Oak Cliff High School to consecutive state titles, he spent his first three collegiate seasons playing for the Texas A&M Aggies. During his time in College Station, Thomas appeared in 33 games, highlighted by a 2024 sophomore campaign where he made four starts, recorded 17 tackles, and grabbed a crucial, fourth-quarter interception against Florida. After serving primarily as a deep rotational reserve behind a veteran group during the 2025 season, he chose to return home to Dallas to close out his career.
