Dean Kindig

13-25 (52%) and 0 TD in 2025 scouted game vs Nebraska. #10 QB for the 2027 class on NFL Draft Buzz) and was the #1 rated transfer portal player after moving to Texas Tech. He had to win an injunction to play this year after his draft status was clouded by a leave of absence for a gambling addiction. 1,843 yards, 20 TDs, 1 INT in '25; 85.1 PFSN QBi grade; 0.06 EPA per pressured dropback, per TruMedia. Some impressive throws vs Colorado, ended up 4th in Regular Season QBR in 2024. Spent two seasons at Indiana, redshirting in 2022 before passing for 1,587 yards and 15 touchdowns with only five interceptions in 2023. A dual-threat quarterback, he added 286 yards and four touchdowns on 112 carries last season and rushed for 151 yards over the final three games. Sorsby recently completed a 35-day treatment program for a gambling addiction. He admitted to making thousands of sports bets, including on his former school, Indiana. Brandt: "Sorsby is a Sports Law course in himself. Sued by Cincinnati over contract buyout. Ruled ineligible by NCAA for thousands of sports bets. Sued NCAA in state court, won due to medical condition. Sued by Big 12 in federal court, pending. Apply for Supp Draft, denied. May sue NFL."

Drew Mestemaker

Dean Kindig

Threw for 2,885 yards and added 431 rushing yards with eight rushing scores in his first year at Oklahoma. Transfer from North Texas. Led the FBS in passing yards last season (4,379). Electric throws on tape. Arm strength to access all levels, but decision making must improve. Very agile for his size and his release is so quick. Has a whip for an arm and isn't afraid to attack small windows. Mestemaker's pocket composure and anticipation over the middle are rare for a player with so little starting experience, and there is a foundation worth developing. His touch, post-snap processing lapses, and mechanical consistency all have room to improve, and how far he gets with those will determine his ceiling as an NFL starter.
