Locker room teammates with Buffalo's young rookie defensive tackle, Zane Durant. Suffered a season-ending injury, according to Sean Fitz's report for On3, Saunders is out for the foreseeable future with a long-term injury, coming off a year when he suffered the same fate. Mainly as a punt returner, before suffering an injury that sidelined him for the rest of 2024. Saunders was only cleared for running routes during Spring Camp, and before the receiver could get back to full strength, he was sidelined once again. Kaden Saunders has drawn comparisons to the Bills' ex-WRS KJ Hamler due to his agility and speed. Despite being second on the depth chart, Saunders has shown improvement in consistency, thanks partly to his dedication in the weight room. An injury recently limited him to punt-return duties against West Virginia, but he remains a key asset for his team. The Bills have a history of selecting players from Penn State, including Hamler and rookie Daequan Hardy. Manny Diaz was familiar with this redshirt sophomore during his tenure at PSU from 2022 to 2024.

Rather than one scout's take, the matchup reflects where the draft community as a whole values each player.
