Featured User Mocks: AFC North
Here are a couple disclaimers on these mocks before you read them:
1) This is for FUN! And a tribute and thank you to all of you that have been using On the Clock to create your own mock drafts! So we decided to pick some of our favorites. So this is not what we are predicting will happen, just showing some good things you GMs out there were able to do with On the Clock!
2) People used various big boards so the rankings will change. Again, anything can happen in the NFL Draft but you will see players in various places on these mocks because different big boards were used.
3) Its not the same mock draft for all 32 teams. Why do you see the same player going 3 times in a division? Because these are 32 different simulations run, therefore a player can go to various teams depending on how their draft played out.
4) Some GMs used On the Clock regular and some used On the Clock Premium with trades, we used both to show the variability!
Enjoy and see Steve’s analysis on this division’s mock drafts below!

-The Browns land an impact receiver to pair with Josh Gordon with their first pick and follow it up with adding a quality corner with their 2nd first round pick. Cleveland lands their quarterback in Derek Carr in the 2nd round, ensuring they have a quality option for the future. Later the Browns use their extra mid-round picks to stock-up on the skill positions ensuring their offense will have the talent and depth to compete next year. Defensive depth is added later, as well as a 2nd developmental QB.
-This is a trade back scenario for the Steelers, and one where they land a number of quality players. Despite trading back they still land a very good corner in the 1st round and follow it up with a quality wide receiver with size in the 2nd round. In the 3rd and 4th rounds they add offensive line, defensive line and additional corner help, which is much needed to the Steelers aging roster. DeAnthony Thomas is an interesting complementary back to Bell and could be a nice fit in Pittsburgh.
-This is a great draft for the Ravens as they add some serious offensive line help in the early rounds, land a developmental receiver with a lot of size and potential and probably their top choice at running back in a local product. Though the Ravens could definitely consider some defensive players, having the draft have a more offensive focus makes sense for the Ravens.
-The Bengals don’t have a lot of pressing needs, but they do a nice job in this draft. Dennard is a physical corner who could do well in Cincy’s defense and he should contribute right away. Hyde is a big physical back who can pair well with Bernard going forward giving the Bengals a very good 1-2 punch. Later in the draft offensive line and defensive line help is good, in addition to some safety help as well.
