Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa’s medical reports ‘overwhelmingly positive’ at NFL Combine

The good news continues for Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

The Alabama junior received “overwhelmingly positive” medical reports by teams who examined him, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, adding that his hip fracture is healed with no loss of blood flow and clean MRIs.

Tagovailoa, once thought to be a potential No. 1 overall draft choice before the injury, suffered the season-ending injury in November against Mississippi State.

But he said at Tuesday’s Combine news conference that he intends to hold his personal pro day on April 9. He’s expected to be cleared for full workouts about a month prior to that.

Tagovailoa is currently the No. 6 overall prospect in the latest Fanspeak-Steve big board.
