Post-NFL Combine On the Clock Update
February 26, 2014
Now that the 2014 NFL Combine is officially in the books, we released a new data update today for On the Clock for a full post-NFL Combine update & Big Board!
What were the biggest moves? See below:
- OT Cyrus Kouandjio fell nearly 20 spots after a poor combine and some rumors about his health came out. Offensive tackle Joe Bitonio continued his impressive offseason and moved up to the late 2nd/early 3rd round area.
- WR’s Jordan Matthews, Brandin Cooks and Odell Beckham all rose up the draft board, while Marquise Lee, Kelvin Benjamin, Allen Robinson and Jarvis Landry all fell down the board.
- Cornerback Kyle Fuller was one of the biggest movers after he answered the biggest question surrounding him with his straight line speed. Fuller is now on the cusp of the first round and could easily be selected on Thursday night.
- Michael Sam struggled in conversion drills and looked limited athletically. His motor and leadership are great, but he’s going to be viewed much more as a situational rusher, and he fell into more the mid rounds.
- Safety Terrence Brooks moved up to the mid-3rd round range after an impressive Combine.
