1. Indianapolis Colts- QB Andrew Luck, Stanford
The Colts have the chance to build up another perennial playoff team, with another franchise QB and I think they will take it.
2. Carolina Panthers- WR Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State
The Panthers have their franchise quarterback, now they need to land a top flight receiver.
3. St. Louis Rams- OT Matt Kalil, USC
Sam Bradford might be a franchise quarterback, but it is hard to tell since he is running for his life on just about every play.
4. Minnesota Vikings- WR Alshon Jeffery, South Carolina
The Vikings need to add a top flight receiver for Christian Ponder and Jeffery is the 2nd best in this draft.
5. Washington Redskins- OT Jonathan Martin, Stanford
The Redskins could go quarterback here, but since it’s impossible to complete the ball if you are on the ground offensive tackle is another need that must be addressed.
6. Jacksonville Jaguars- WR Michael Floyd, Notre Dame
The Jags need to land a receiver early in this draft and while this is a bit high for Floyd, he’s the big play receiver their offense needs.
7. Arizona Cardinals- OT Riley Reiff, Iowa
The Cardinals have one of the worst offensive lines in the league and must find some help this offseason.
8. Miami Dolphins- QB Robert Griffin, Baylor
The Dolphins need to land a young QB, and you can make a case that Griffin is the 2nd best QB in the draft.
9. Philadelphia Eagles- DT Devon Still, Penn State
The Eagles should be thrilled if they land Still, who is a monster in the middle.
10. Cleveland Browns- QB Matt Barkley, USC
Matt Barkley is a good quarterback prospect, but he’ll probably never be considered great. A team would probably trade up for him, but if not he could fall a few spots to the Browns.
11. Kansas City Chiefs- OLB Quinton Coples, UNC
Coples should be able to make the transition to rush linebacker and give the Chiefs another quality pass rusher.
12. Seattle Seahawks- QB Landry Jones, Oklahoma
The Seahawks can land their QB of the future here in Landry Jones.
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- ILB Vontaze Burfict, Arizona State
The Bucs could go CB or OT, but Burfict might be too good to pass up.
14. San Diego Chargers- CB Morris Claiborne, LSU
The Chargers don’t have any pressing needs so they can go with best value here.
15. Tennessee Titans- ILB Luke Kuechly, Boston College
The Titans need to find some help in the middle of their defense.
16. New York Jets-RB Trent Richardson, Alabama
Shonn Greene is a nice running back, but he might not be a true feature back. For the Jets to win they need a strong running game and if Richardson falls, it’s a great value pick at this spot.
17. Buffalo Bills-CB Dre Kirkpatrick, Alabama
Buffalo needs some major help in the secondary and Kirkpatrick is a guy who could easily go 10 picks higher.
18. Denver Broncos- DT Brandon Thompson, Clemson
The Broncos need to find a guy who can anchor inside for them to help the outside pass rush of Von Miller and Dumerville.
19. Dallas Cowboys- CB Alonzo Dennard, Nebraska
The Cowboys secondary has been pathetic this year making CB a top priority.
20. Cleveland Browns (via ATL)- RB Lamar Miller, Miami
The Browns need to rebuild their rushing attack and Miller is the 2nd best back in the draft.
21. Cincinnati Bengals- G David DeCastro, Stanford
Cincy doesn’t have too many needs, but one of the main ones is at guard.
22. New York Giants- C Peter Konz, Wisconsin
The Giants have a major need along the interior of their offensive line, and Konz is the top player available.
23. Cincinnati Bengals (via OAK)- CB Chase Minnifield, Virginia
The Bengals could use another cornerback and Minnifield is a guy who could start for them right away.
24. Houston Texans- G Cordy Glenn, Georgia
The Texans offensive line is their strength but it could undergo an overhaul this year, as they have a couple free agents, and a couple of players getting up there in age.
25. New England Patriots- CB Janoris Jenkins, North Alabama
Despite drafting a couple over the last few years, CB remains among the Patriots top needs.
26. New England Patriots (Via N.O.)- LB Zach Brown, UNC
Brown is a great value here and if the Patriots continue using 4-3 defense he’d be a great fit.
27. Chicago Bears- OT Mike Adams, Ohio State
The Bears drafted one Big 10 offensive tackle last year for their RT position, this year they will go back to the conference for their LT need.
28. Detroit Lions- OT D.J. Fluker, Alabama
The Lions are struggling to keep Matt Stafford protected making OT a major need.
29. Baltimore Ravens- ILB Manti Te’o, Notre Dame
The Ravens need to find the heir apparent to Ray Lewis, and Te’o is a great value here.
30. San Francisco 49ers- OLB Courtney Upshaw, Alabama
Ahmad Brooks is a free agent next season which could lead to the 49ers picking another pass rusher this year. Upshaw and Aldon Smith will ensure San Fran’s defense stays at the top of their game.
31. Pittsburgh Steelers- DT Dontari Poe, Memphis
The Steelers Casey Hampton is getting up there in age, and they should be in the market for a new NT.
32. Green Bay Packers- OLB Bruce Irvin, WVU
The Packers have been searching for another pass rusher to go along with Clay Matthews. They should like Irvin who is a true speed rusher, and a bit undersized, similar to Matthews when he entered the league.
