Oklahoma State CB A.J. Green improves 40 time at school’s Pro Day
After recording one of the slowest 40-yard dash times among participating cornerbacks at the Combine, Oklahoma State’s A.J. Green needed a big day at his school’s Pro Day.
He accomplished that goal on Tuesday.
While Green’s 40-time is disputed, he nonetheless recorded a faster 40 and improved in most testing areas, according to Sports Illustrated’s Pokes Report.

That should come as good news for the long-time starter, as Green recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.62 seconds at the Combine.
His unofficial times at his Pro Day greatly varied, ranging from 4.43 up to 4.6 seconds.
“Pokes Report timed Green’s two 40-times at 4.53 and 4.59,” writes Zach Lancaster. “Once the Pro Day had concluded, we spoke with a member of the scouting community who told us our times were fairly consistent with what Green actually ran.”

Green told the website that he felt his Pro Day performance went smoothly.
“There’s some things I didn’t do well at the (NFL) Combine, but I feel like I made a statement here,” he said, adding that scouts tell him he has good hips and is fluid.
Green is currently the No. 185 overall prospect in the latest Fanspeak-Steve big board.
