Updated:  06/23/16

1- Philadelphia 76ers- Ben Simmons- SF/PF- LSU
They already told Simmons it will be him but we don’t know if he is excited.

2- LA Lakers – Brandon Ingram- SF- Duke
Should be a lock for the Lakers.

3- Boston Celtics – Kris Dunn- PG- Providence
Celts can’t get anyone to take this pick for a vet.  Bad year to want to do that.

4- Phoenix Suns – Marquese Chriss- PF- Washington
Stretch four is the wave of the future and Chriss is the best one out there.

5- Minnesota Timberwolves – Jamal Murray- SG/PG -Kentucky
Maybe Heild here but I think Murray gets the nod even with Rubio.

6- New Orleans Pelicans – Buddy Heild- SG- Oklahoma
I think the Pelicans hope for Murray but settle happily for Heild.

7- Denver Nuggets – Dragan Bender- PF- Croatia
Falls a bit but still legit lottery call.

8- Sacramento Kings – Jaylen Brown- SG- California
Could go as high as four but the team that has the worst draft luck stays local.

9- Toronto Raptors – Domantas Sabonis- Center- Gonzaga
This is a winner for The North!

10-Milwaukee Bucks – Devonta Davis- PF- Michigan State
Maybe a surprise entry but lots of upside is liked in a weaker draft.

11- Orlando Magic – Jakob Poeltl- Center-  Utah
Maybe a bit high but size is still not forgotten.

12- Utah Jazz – Furkan Kormaz- SG- Turkey
The Jazz need wing scoring and the Turk could step in without the normal rookie pressure playing in Salt Lake.

13- Phoenix Suns – Skal Labissiere- F/C- Kentucky
More size to go with Chriss as the Suns got this gift dropping Morris Twin #2.

14- Chicago Bulls – Dejounte Murray- PG- Washington
Rose is finally gone and the Bulls will need to move on with a guy like Murray.

15- Denver Nuggets – Malik Beasley- SG- Florida State
Team is a mess as they line up coaches this week to talk.  Maybe Beasley can be a bright spot.

16- Boston Celtics – Wade Baldwin PG/SG- Vanderbilt
My guess is no chance Boston ends up making this pick.

17- Memphis Grizzlies – Malachi Richardson- SG- Syracuse
Huge play in tourney makes him now a draft option.

18- Detroit Pistons – Chieck Diallo- F- Kansas
Couldn’t get off the Kansas bench but its amazing how untapped talent will get you drafted.

19- Denver Nuggets – Henry Ellenson- PF- Marquette
Could go later but lets see what happens.

20- Indiana Pacers – Denzel Valentine- SG- Michigan State
The best in then BigTen and still hurting from the tourney but he finds a first round landing spot.

21- Atlanta Hawks – Brice Johnson- PF- North Carolina
His play has him moving up the charts.  Did you know the last drafted UNC players to be an all star were Jamison and Carter.  That was a long time ago.

22- Charlotte Hornets – Damian Jones- C- Vanderbilt
Add some size late in the round for Hornets.  Just a crapshoot at this point with teams selling picks, stashing guys in Europe, etc.

23- Boston Celtics – Timothe Luwawu- SG- France
Another pick for the Celts as they have a chance to have the worlds deepest bench in 2018.

24- Philadelphia 76ers – Anthony Barber- PG- NC State
Cat has been a monster this season and I feel will work his way up in this draft to the mid 20s.

25- LA Clipppers – Taurean Price- F- Baylor
Deserving guy to go first round.

26- Philadelphia 76ers – Demetrius Jackson- PG- Notre Dame
Would be a solid grab for the new Coangelo regime.

27- Toronto Raptors – Stephen Zimmerman- Center-  UNLV
Zimmerman moves back up a few this week.  Even with the talk of the centers going instinct he is still a decent talent in a weak draft.

28- Phoenix Suns – AJ Hammons- PF- Purdue
Seen him a lot this season.  Just seems like he could be a Taj Gibson in the NBA.

29- San Antonio Spurs – Ante Zizic- PF- Croatia
Duncan says his back for one more but with his age and the age of Diaw, size can help.

30- Golden State Warriors – Thon Maker- F- Australia
Back in the first for the late rounds biggest wildcard.
