Redskins Weekly: Pro Bowl Snubs & Offseason Talk

1- Who hates the Redskins? 

I am guessing whoever chooses the alternates for the Pro Bowl because no one is going from Washington.  Even after all the Panthers, Broncos and skipping players passed on this worthless game.  How pathetic are the quarterbacks in this game?  OK, there are some solid guys but Teddy Bridgewater?  Really?  What did he average?  .75 TD passes pwer game?  No way he should be there over Kirk Cousins.  I am not saying Cousins is a completely deserving Pro Bowler but he should be there over Bridgewater, and Winston and probably Carr and Tyrod as well.  You can make the argument he is as worthy as Eli also.  Who was the first pick of one the guys who drafted.  Alex Smith deserves to be there before these guys as well.  
As for the other real snub why is Jordan Reed not there?  He should have been there in the first place but not even as an alternate.  Just a joke.  The tight ends there are more deserving the QBs there but Reed was one of the strongest weapons in the NFL over the second half of the season.  After Gronk and Olsen he was the best down the stretch.  I wouldn’t be watching anyway but these guys at least deserve the trip to Hawaii.  And how many Raiders are in Hawaii right now?  I think Cliff Branch and Howie Long are playingSunday.  Where is Jason Hatcher to ask if the team name is hurting this team?  Something has to be the answer.

2- Quick thoughts from Skins Land:
a- Jim Haslett has a job again in the NFL and I have nothing bad to say on this one.  I wish him well.  I have more of a problem that Shanahan and Gruden kept him around too long.  It was on them.
b- Antwann Randle-EL, what a mess.  Great job making a huge statement so that you can get talked about and then completely walking back on it.  Waste of time.  Sorry.
c-  Russ Grimm is back as a coach with the Titans.  Just like with Haslett I hope the Hall of Famer does well.  Wish he was here but there is no real spot with King Callahan running the line!
d- Welcome Greg Manusky back home.  I am happy with adding the former Redskin to work with the outside linebackers.  Ton of experience doesn’t hurt.
e- Kirk Cousins is gonna get paid via a new deal or the franchise tag.  I know a former Skin who could use some bail money from Kirk.  Free Jabar Gaffney!
