Fanspeak Ownership Changes
We are Jonny and Carter, the new owners of Fanspeak and lifelong Utes fans. We have massive respect for what Steve and Megan Shoup built in 2009 and intend to continue their legacy of creating engaging & interactive NFL tools & content. They created a staple tool for the draft world and we intend to continue this trend. With all of that being said welcome to the new Fanspeak! We’ll be reactivating the Fanspeak Twitter soon and hope to hear from all you about the new styling, changes, tools, what you like, what you don’t like, and all of your opinions (they’re very helpful).
We Built the Stadium, You Play the Game
We are builders first. You are the experts – the ones debating whether your team needs a left tackle or mobile quarterback, a new receiver core or a stout defense. Our job is to give you the best, fastest, and cleanest stadium to play in.
Over the past month we’ve been working under the hood to modernize the experience for the 2026 season, starting with a new design for On The Clock. We think you’re going to love it.
On The Clock Updates:
- 1. Updated Design: On The Clock now has a sleek, modern look fully designed for desktop and mobile.
- 2. 2026 Ready: The draft order, big boards, and team needs have been updated.
- 3. Updated Algorithms: Two updated algorithms that prioritize players and team needs differently.
If you prefer the classic feel, we’ve kept the
Legacy Site running here.
That said, we think you’ll love the speed and responsiveness of the new platform.
What’s Next For Fanspeak?
This is just version 1.0 of the new Fanspeak era. We have a roadmap of features we want to ship before the Draft in April and will be consistently adding tools, content, and unique features for you to enjoy (so be sure to sign up for our emails so you don’t miss anything!). That being said, we appreciate feedback from you and would love to know what features you want most.
We’re currently building comprehensive, data-driven player reports covering over 15,000 college players, giving you deeper insights while you draft.
“Manage the Cap” is making a return. We know this was a community favorite, and we’re actively rebuilding it to be better, faster, and more powerful than before.
We’re soon releasing a version of On-The-Clock with multiplayer, on-site sharing, play as multiple teams, and much more.
