Top 10 Hottest Wives and Girlfriends of Athletes

NFL Steve O Speak

Athletes are famous for many things aside from their performance in the field. They are often the preferred topic of tabloids due to their sometimes eccentric lifestyle or their antics. And, increasingly, their wives and girlfriends (WAGs, for short) get a lot of media attention – especially if they happen to be celebrities as well. The WAG phenomenon started in the UK with soccer star David Beckham and former Spice Girl Victoria Adams (now Beckham) and has since then spread to the whole world. Today, let us take a look at the hottest WAGs of famous athletes.

10. Brenna Mcguire

One of the hottest WAGs of the NHL, Brenna Mcguire is married to Columbus Blue Jackets alternate captain Brandon Dubinsky. He and Brenna lived in the same building but never met – until going out with some mutual friends and learning of their proximity. From there on, one thing led to another, culminating in their wedding in 2012.

9. Ana Ivanović

Ana Ivanović is a retired Serbian tennis player, with accolades like ranking #1 in the world in 2008 and winning the year-end WTA Tournament of Champions twice, in 2010 and in 2011. Ivanović is married to Bastian Schweinsteiger, a midfielder for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire.

8. Melissa Satta

Melissa Satta is an Italian model and television presenter, and not least, the fiancée of German professional soccer player Kevin-Prince Boateng, known by his short name “Prince”. The couple has been a couple for years – at one time, in 2012, the player – then at AC Milan – claimed that his tigh injury that sidelined him for a while was a result of the two spending too much time with… private sports.

7. Noureen Dewulf

Actress Noureen Dewulf (Lacey from “Anger Management”) has a long and fruitful film and TV career behind her. She made it to the sports news in 2011 when she married NHL goaltender Ryan Miller (Anaheim Duck) in Los Angeles. They are still a couple, with one child born in 2015.

6. Teyana Taylor

Actress, model, dancer, rapper, and WAG Teyana Taylor has been married to Cleveland Cavaliers player Iman Shumpert for longer anyone knew – they married in secret. The couple’s first baby, Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert Jr., was born at home – not by choice but by chance, as she went into early labor.

5. Michelle Game

Dallas Mavericks player Charlie Villanueva has started dating fitness model and social media personality Michelle Game in 2014, and they became engaged in the same year. They have a child, born in 2015, but there’s no word on a wedding ever since.

4. Melanie Collins

Another one of the NHL’s hottest WAGs, Melanie Collins is a sports entertainment host, anchor, and reporter for NBA TV – and apparently, she is dating St. Louis Blues right winger Scottie Upshall.

3. Amelia Vega

Amelia Vega was the first Dominican woman to be named Miss Universe in 2003. Since then, her career continued as a singer, actress, and model, and as a wife, too – in 2011, she married Boston Celtics player Al Horford.

2. Anna Kasterova

On the ice, Evgeni Malkin has earned a reputation as a professional player and alternate captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Off the ice, he is the fiancé of Russian TV personality Anna Kasterova and father of her child, Nikita, born in May 2016.

1. Elsa Benitez

Elsa Benitez is arguably one of the most beautiful WAGs of all time. Featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in 2001 and 2006, and returning to its pages for several years, she is a model and television presenter, and not least the former wife of former New Jersey Nets player Rony Seikaly. Today, Seikaly owns and runs a multi-million-dollar real estate investment company, and his former wife is dating producer Valerio Morabito.
