A Way-Too-Early Look at the Super Bowl 60 Favorites

Steve O Speak

No ‘three-peat,’ shame. Worse still, we have no football for six months!

However, It’s never too early to start planning for the future, and the 2026 Super Bowl odds have some recognizable faces leading the pack in Super Bowl 60 wagers.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, and the 2026 odds make them the favorite. The Baltimore Ravens are second with the shortest odds.

Just ahead of the Detroit Lions in trade for the third-shortest odds are the Buffalo Bills and the Chiefs.

Favorites and Line Movement

When evaluating the best apps found here that provide Super Bowl 60 betting odds, it is no surprise that the Chiefs were among the favorites on opening. However, after a convincing Super Bowl victory, the Eagles are the clear favorites to lift the Lombardi Trophy once again.

In anticipation of the 2026 Super Bowl, top sportsbooks have already witnessed significant line movements: The Cincinnati Bengals have changed a lot, but the Eagles and the Detroit Lions are tied for first place in ticket sales.

  • Biggest line movement:

Buccaneers – from +4000 to +3500

Lions – from +850 to +800

Bengals – from +2000 to +1800

  • Ticket percentages thus far:

Lions (13.5%)

Bills (9.8%)

Eagles (12.5%)

  • Biggest handle %:

Lions (12.9%)

Eagles (11.3%)

Chiefs (11.2%)

Kansas City Chiefs (+750)

The Chiefs will be one of the favorites to win the Lombardi Trophy as long as Mahomes is quarterbacking the offense and Reid remains on the sidelines. The Chiefs, like a rejuvenated Tom Brady or Bill Belichick, can turn any scheme into a winning one, regardless of the talent level of the opposing team. This was evident in Super Bowl 60.

Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Creed Humphrey, Trent McDuffie, and George Karlaftis are all important players who will be returning for the Chiefs. Thanks to Brett Veach and Reid’s roster construction around Mahomes, the Chiefs should be a perennial Super Bowl contender.

Implied probability of winning Super Bowl 60: 11.76%

Baltimore Ravens (+700)

Although Lamar Jackson did not get his third Most Valuable Player award last season, he enjoyed what many consider to be his finest season to date, and the Ravens seem to be on track to return to their previous level of play. Offense coordinator Todd Monken has been extended, while Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, and Rashod Bateman are all back in Jackson’s situation.

Marlon Humphrey, Roquan Smith, and Kyle Hamilton are the defense leaders, which bodes well for the offense. But the Ravens keep falling short in the playoffs, so maybe the secret to moving on is bringing in some seasoned talent this summer.

Implied probability of winning Super Bowl 60: 12.50%

 Philadelphia Eagles (+650)

Even though the Chiefs have the league’s top head coach and quarterback, Philadelphia has the league’s finest general manager. After winning the Super Bowl in 2025 with a squad full of superstars, the Eagles should again be the most feared team in the NFC. This is especially true as long as Howie Roseman is in charge.

DeVonta Smith, A.J. Smith, and Saquon Barkley are all returning after having record-breaking seasons. Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith Jr., Cooper DeJean, and Quinyon Mitchell are just a few of the rising studs who make up the defense. When Kellen Moore resigns to become head coach of the New Orleans Saints, the major issue is who will take his position in Philadelphia’s offense?

Implied probability of winning Super Bowl 60: 13.3%
