Types of Fat Burners That Are Effective Before Your Workout

Steve O Speak

There are many different fat burners on the market, so it can be challenging to know which ones work and which ones don’t. However, certain fat burners are more effective before your workout because they can help you have an even better workout and accelerate fat loss in the long term. Here are six types of fat burners that are effective before your workout.

1) Energy Boosters

An energy booster is one kind of pre workout fat burner that is often overlooked. Energy boosters contain caffeine, green tea extract, and yerba mate to increase your energy levels before exercise. According to Legion Athletics, you can get “more energy & focus during exercise.”

2) Thermogenics

These supplements increase your body temperature and metabolic rate, leading to more calories burned. Examples include stimulants like caffeine and synephrine. However, synephrine and ephedrine should be avoided as a rule of thumb because they can cause side effects.

3) Stimulants

Fat burners containing stimulants help your body burn more calories. They do so by stimulating adrenaline, which may increase your heart rate and cause you to sweat. Some fat burners with stimulants also contain caffeine and/or guarana.

An example of a stimulant-based fat burner is Nitric Oxide-3x, which contains caffeine and synephrine. Caffeine causes your body to burn more calories by increasing your heart rate and metabolism. Synephrine also burns calories by affecting your brain chemistry rather than increasing heart rate or metabolism.

4) Appetite Suppressants

Appetite suppressants can help curb hunger and make it easier to stick to a meal plan. These supplements include green tea extract, capsaicin, ginger root, and bitter orange.

5) Diuretics

Diuretics rid your body of excess water weight. While they don’t directly burn fat, they may help you look slimmer. Weight loss with diuretics can be limited, as diuretics can often cause mild dehydration and muscle cramping. Common Diuretic Choices: Spironolactone and Furosemide Hydrochloride (Lasix).

6) Pre-Workout Products

During these early stages, it’s good to use a pre workout fat burner. This type of product will give you a boost before hitting your workouts and provide you with energy so that you can push yourself harder throughout your entire workout. The best time to take pre-workout products is 30 minutes before a workout.

Types of Pre-workout Products

  1. Carbohydrates
  2. Creatine
  3. Caffeine
  4. Nitric Oxide
  5. Beta-Alanine
  6. L-Carnitine

Pre-workout products generally increase energy levels and focus before a workout. They can also help you push yourself harder during your workouts, which will lead to better results.

When Should You Take Pre-Workout Products?

While pre-workout products are meant to take 30 minutes before a workout, you can also use them any time during an exercise. However, you may start feeling tired and worn out during these later stages.

On Taking Other Weight Loss Products and Programs

The best thing you can do is be realistic with your expectations. You are not going to lose weight overnight. You will need to change a lot about how you live for that to happen. But if you have a lot of weight to lose, it might take months or even years before you see any significant results.

It’s vital to understand that different fat burners will have additional effects on your body. Understand which options are a good fit for you, and then shop accordingly.
