Looking ahead to the NBA Play Off’s and the top three contenders

NBA Steve O Speak

A season that should have come to a close months ago, however everyone has been affected by a global pandemic in Covid-19 and lockdown restrictions have therefore put a 3 month break in the season but now up and running again, we are on the brink of the play off’s and what an exciting time it is for NBA fans now with quite an open championship this year.

In the meantime, whilst we wait for the play offs to start once we’ve picked our winner via the bookies, why not have another gamble at some of the best live casinos on the web. 24 Monaco Casino review clearly shows it to be one of the most diverse and varied casinos online, offering large deposit matches and sign-up offers for all of their games.

The Milwaukee Bucks are a slight favourite for the tournament at 5/2 and have been unbelievable this season and unplayable at times, due to their two-star men Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton firing on all cylinders; both averaging 30 points per game all season. However, since the return after lockdown, all five of their games have all been within five points from defeat – it’s been there worst period of the whole season, so they’ll want to get back to their championship winning form.

Second favourite to the Championship is none other than the Los Angeles Lakers, the famous purple and gold jerseys are 11/4 to win the title and star man Lebron James would want to add to his three championship rings already. However, the Lakers are also suffering from a lockdown lull, their offence has dramstically dropped since the return which there average points per game dropping by 10% – this is something they’ll need to rectify before the play off’s come into play.

Outsider include the Los Angeles Clippers and the Toronto Raptors at 3/1 and 9/1 respectively – both very good sides who can certainly cause damage if they are on their game.

Out of all the above spoken about, I’d learn towards the Bucks taking the championship just because their skill is spread across the team and are a far more balanced side than the Lakers who heavily rely on Lebron. Nevertheless, any exciting prospect to hopefully see that game as the final!
