F1: Is Lewis Hamilton throwing his hat into the mix for being the greatest of all time?

Lewis Hamilton, the boy wonder from Stevenage now turned 6 time Grand Prix champion, a man that has certainly delivered on his potential he was given as a youth. However, he’ll now be thinking to himself quietly, however humble he comes across, what more does he have to do to be considered with the great such as Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Jim Clark? Today we look into how much of an argument Hamilton has.

Ever since it started in the 50’s, Formula One has always been a sport of numbers and fine margins. You have seen markets continue to form in order for punters to start betting on each race in the season. This has been a similar process and useful at Casinos not on Gamstop, who have offered players access to different casino games, for those who had previously registered to Gamstop. That is a positive for those looking to get around this and to continue to access these popular casino based games and lead onto the different sports betting markets, such as Formula one.

Lewis Hamilton has some seriously impressive stats to back up his argument, out of his 254 races, he’s won an impressive 87 of them – that’s 1 win in every 3 races. A conversation rate that cannot be argued with especially with the amount of doubters Lewis has had over the years, it’s good to see him proving them wrong. Another stat that he’ll personally feel proud of is he has the most home Grand Prix wins in history after his win at Silverstone at the weekend.

Another impressive trait about Hamilton is his risk-taking ability and this isn’t just with his driving but also with his career choices. Hamilton joined a relatively new team in Mercedes AMG Petronas in 2013 not knowing how good they’d be or how competitive the car would be; however his risk has clearly paid off and paid back Hamilton’s trust handsomely.

Hamilton still has years left in his career and years left on his contract to be able to compete with the legends of the sport, but does Hamilton already have a case to claim himself as the GOAT? A lot of people certainly think so, its now up to Lewis to solidify that case for himself.
