Lewis Hamilton, the boy wonder from Stevenage now turned 6 time Grand Prix champion, a man that has certainly delivered on his potential he was given as a youth. However, he’ll now be thinking to himself quietly, however humble he comes across, what more does he have to do to be considered with the great such as Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Jim Clark? Another impressive trait about Hamilton is his risk-taking ability and this isn’t just with his driving but also with his career choices. Hamilton joined a relatively new team in Mercedes AMG Petronas in 2013 not knowing how good they’d be or how competitive the car would be; however his risk has clearly paid off and paid back Hamilton’s trust handsomely.

Hamilton still has years left in his career and years left on his contract to be able to compete with the legends of the sport, but does Hamilton already have a case to claim himself as the GOAT? A lot of people certainly think so, its now up to Lewis to solidify that case for himself.
