Two upcoming fights not to be missed in 2019
2018 was all about the resurgence of heavyweight boxing, which is a major positive for the future of the sport. Could we see the rematch of Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder in 2019 with the odds on the site online-betting.org, making Fury the favourite? It certainly is exciting times for the sport moving into 2019. Here we cover some upcoming match ups that cannot be missed.
Manny Pacquiao v Adrien Broner
First up in just a few weeks’ time sees all-time great Manny Pacquiao face off against the enigmatic Adrien Broner. Pacquiao is going to start as the favourite and for good reason considering he brings in a professional record of 60 wins, seven defeats and two draws. He will also be looking to defend his WBA World welterweight title, with the bout set to take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
At 39 years of age the Filipino is coming to the latter stages of his career and would a defeat lead him to retire? In Adrien Broner he faces a fighter who has a huge amount of ability but has always let his actions outside of the ring play against him. The American is a four weight world champion and is still just 29 years of age, so could yet have a big impact in the sport. He has won 33 of his 38 professional fights and this is likely to be one of his biggest tests. Can Broner push himself back into the spotlight with a shock victory?

Errol Spence Jr v Mikey Garcia
One of the most highly anticipated matchups of 2019 as two of the pound for pound best face off in Errol Spence Jr and Mikey Garcia. Garcia is going to start as the underdog as he steps up in weight to face the dangerous Errol Spence. Garcia is 31 years of age and is unbeaten, winning all his 39 starts to date, with 30 by knockout. He is a very talented fighter but this is going to be his biggest test of his career by some way.
Spence is 28 years of age and has long been one of the most avoided fighters in boxing. This is why it is very sporting of Garcia to be stepping up in weight to face him, and shows the confidence he has in himself. Spence is also unbeaten having won all his 24 fights, with 20 via knockout. This is a fight that cannot be missed at the start of 2019 for boxing fans.
