Arsenal tables €3.5m-a-year offer to Guiseppe Marotta

Following the inevitable exit of soon-to-be- former CEO Ivan Gazidis, Arsenal are now reported to have contacted former Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta to be their next CEO at the Emirates Stadium.

According to Calciomercato, The North Londoners have tabled an offer worth €3.5 million-a-year but the Italian man is seeming unwilling to leave Italy for the moment, which could mean bad business for the Gunners as Serie A club Inter Milan being interested on Marotta services.

Arsenal could just be on the verge on failing to secure the services of the 61-year-old Italian, as reports further claims that Marotta is checking out available options for him in other clubs.

Marotta, who is also known as Beppe, revealed to the world he will be stepping down as Juventus CEO right after the Bianconeris beat Napoli in a 3-1 win on Saturday and since then the business man has been linked with other European clubs.

With the Italian 61-year-old not willing to move away from Italy is already claiming to be bad for Arsenal, with Serie A club Inter becoming more desperate to make Beppe their CEO also leading the race in that order.

Guiseppe Marotta became Juventus CEO back in 2010 after a short spell with their rivals Sampdoria.
