Who Do You Think Will Win The NCAA’s Men’s Basketball Tournament in 2017?

NCAA Basketball Steve O Speak

Great question. They don’t call it March Madness for no reason. After the Super Bowl, everyone seems to go gaga for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. You can check at BetPhoenix March Madness Predictions if you want to get an idea of how big this is.

In any case, whichever your favorite team is, mine is Kansas, there’s no easy answer to picking a winner. In fact, the odds are so slim that even billionaire Warren Buffett is willing to part with a few of his millions if you can correctly predict the brackets.

But, which teams are favored for this year’s competition? Duke may have the most talent, with Kentucky hot on its tails.

The Blue Devils still have some drama going on among its three freshman phenoms, although seem to be making a comeback as evidenced by their win over No. 8 North Carolina which put them on a four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Kentucky has hit a skid in the road as of late, playing some less-than-stellar basketball. However, K has a slew of talent in its ranks, led by head coach John Calipari. After dropping three of the last five games, the Wildcats have their work cut out for them.

There are reasons for me to believe, a West coast team wins it all; Oregon, UCLA, and Gonzaga all have great teams this year and as long as one of them makes it to the Final Four, they have an advantage of playing on the West Coast. Of all the above, I favor UCLA the most. Last week, the Bruins won over the Oregon Ducks behind an impressive performance by Lonzo Ball who staged a 19-point comeback and made four of his final five shots, including five points in the last minute and 10 seconds of the game.

Of course, there are many other teams that also have a shot of cutting down the net once they make it to the Big Dance, which makes this NCAA Tournament so special. All we can say is, may the best TEAM win.
