DAILY DISCUSSION: Is the “Underdog” Really the “Favorite” in Playoffs?

Look at the recent World Champions…the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants, UConn Huskies, and Green Bay Packers to name a few.  It seems like these days the #1 or #2 seed does not guarantee a team a World Championship.

And now we have the LA Kings just dominating. Can they be stopped or is their momentum too powerful?

And these days do the wild cards or low seeds have it made to win the big game….or is it just a crapshoot?
