DAILY DISCUSSION: Do you think the NHL is Rooting for LA vs. NY Stanley Cup Finals?

I heard this point on the radio today, and I thought it was interesting. The NHL is in a position to have the 2 top TV/sports markets face off in the Stanley Cup Finals if the Kings and Rangers move on.  This is a unique situation for the league. And certainly a bit sexier than New Jersey vs. Phoenix.

What kind of impact do you think a Kings vs. Rangers Finals would have for the game of hockey/NHL based on the markets?  Would it be a series you’d be interested in watching if you’re not a fan of either team?
