Some Week 12 Picks:

Steve O Speak

Packers +1 @ Falcons: This looks to be the game of the week and my guess is it won’t disappoint. As good as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are I don’t know how you pick against Matt Ryan in Atlanta? Packers may be a small favorite here, but I’ll take the Falcons with the point. Atlanta is a legit contender and being at home they should be the pick right here. Its not always pretty, but Ryan gets the job done at home, Falcons win 27-24.

Steelers -6.5 @ Bills: Buffalo has been playing better in recent weeks and they are at home, but I don’t see them beating the Steelers by 7 or more points. Pittsburgh is just too good of a team, with great balance on offense and defense. The Bills simply can’t compete with their firepower and defensive ability. I’ll take the Steelers 31-17 in this game.

Panthers +9.5 @ Browns: Now this is a game I fully expect the Browns to win, but I have a hard time believing they will cover. The Panthers are no doubt an awful team, but I think they could show some signs of life against a weak Browns defense. They also benefit with the Browns being without rookie sensation Colt McCoy this week. I still think Cleveland pulls it out but it should be close. Browns 24-20.

Jaguars +7 @ Giants: This is a tough game for me to pick, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say the Jags cover with the points. I still think the G-men win at home, but the Jags will find a way to keep it close. Jacksonville has been a bit of a surprise team this season, and I think the injured Giants will have their hands full. New York wins 28-23.
