College Football Picks

(1) Ohio State (-4.0) @ (18) Wisconsin: With Alabama’s loss last week, Ohio State is the new number one. They will have a tough first contest as they defend their number one ranking against Wisconsin. The Badgers have a good team, and will look to knock off the Buckeyes, but they have their work cut out for them. Wisconsin is at home, but I believe that Tyrell Pryor will be too much for the Badgers. I like Ohio State to win 35-24.

(12) Arkansas (+3.5) @ (7) Auburn: Auburn is the favorite in this game, but I like Arkansas’ chances of taking this game. The Razorbacks have a very good team, including quarterback Ryan Mallet, and should be able to knock off Auburn. The Tigers won’t go without a fight, but I don’t see it being enough. I like Arkansas winning 27-21.

Texas (+10) @ (5) Nebraska: The Longhorns have struggled so far this season and things won’t get any easier this week as they face the 5th ranked Cornhuskers. Nebraska looks like a championship caliber team this year with a fantastic defense and an incredible playmaker in QB Taylor Martinez. Nebraska has been unstoppable so far this season and while Texas is always a tough game they should be fine today. I like Nebraska winning 31-20.

(16) Iowa (-4.5) @ Michigan: The Wolverines face another tough opponent this week in the 16th ranked Hawkeyes. After cruising to start the season Michigan came crashing down last weekend. While it would be easy to say they don’t have a chance against a very good Hawkeyes team, but I actually like the Wolverines to bounce back today. Denard Robinson remains one of the most electric players in the country and I think homefield advantage will be a great asset to Michigan. Iowa won’t go down without a fight, but I see an upset in the making with Michigan winning 28-27.
