If Chase Young and Joe Burrow are the top 2 players, who’s No. 3?
The first two picks of the 2020 NFL draft shouldn’t come as a big surprise, as LSU QB Joe Burrow is the presumed No. 1 overall pick and Ohio State edge rusher Chase Young is expected to be the second overall pick.
Things get a bit murkier after that.

Detroit currently has the third pick, but the Lions don’t need a quarterback, so that slot has been the subject of trade rumors. There’s speculation, for example, that Miami might want to trade up a few spots to snag Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa.
But Detroit could just as easily stay put.
So who’s the third-best player in this draft?
NFL teams (in draft order) records since 2011
Bengals: 73-69
Redskins: 56-87
Lions: 66-77
Giants: 60-84
Dolphins: 63-81This narrative that the Bengals are so historically bad that Joe Burrow shouldn’t want to play for Cincinnati is so lazy

“I’m still splitting hairs and determining final grades, but it could be Ohio State CB Jeffrey Okudah or Auburn DT Derrick Brown,” said Eric Edholm, lead NFL draft analyst for Yahoo Sports, in an email interview with Fanspeak.
“Also in the running would be two tackles, Tristan Wirfs and Jedrick Wills. A healthy Tua Tagovailoa might have been in that discussion, too. Right now I have Young as best available, Burrow two and these candidates for No. 3.”
