Injuries pile up for Alabama, other notable NFL draft hopefuls

Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa wasn’t the only highly-regarded NFL draft prospect who suffered an injury this week, he was just the most prominent.

In fact, Tagovailoa wasn’t the only Crimson Tide player who was carted off the field in the team’s costly win over Mississippi State. Other Alabama injuries include defensive tackle Raekwon Davis, who was carted off the field with a sprained ankle, defensive lineman D.J. Dale (twisted knee) and wide receiver Henry Ruggs III (bruised ribs).

Their status for Alabama’s Nov. 23 game against Western Carolina is unknown.
