When perusing various NFL mock drafts and prospect rankings, you’ll typically see many of the same names crop up, especially the top 50 players.

So it always sends draft fans and analysts alike abuzz when a relatively new name makes someone’s list.

The name this week that has cropped up as a potential first rounder is Georgia’s other offensive tackle, redshirt sophomore Isaiah Wilson, who is ranked as the No. 28 prospect in respected NFL draft analyst Tony Pauline’s top 32 list. Jones checks in at a massive 6-foot-7, 340 pounds.

You can read Pauline’s complete Pro Football Network’s latest rankings here.

Rivals ranks Wilson as its No. 4 offensive tackle, regardless of class. His teammate, Andrew Thomas, checks in at No. 2, while Oregon sophomore Penei Sewell is rated as the No. 1 prospect.

“Wilson is a massive human being who moves well for his size and definitely has early-round NFL Draft potential,” writes Rivals national analyst Mike Farrell. “Georgia’s rushing attack has been exceptional this year and Wilson is a huge contributor in that effort.”

Farrell also called Jones a “freak for his size” and says he projects as an “elite right tackle” in the NFL.
