Green Bay Packers Team Needs for the 2013 NFL Draft
1. Running Back (x2)
2. Center
3. Outside Linebacker
4. Offensive Tackle
5. Safety
6. Wide Receiver
7. Tight End
8. Nose Tackle
The Packers spent the majority of their draft last year on the defensive side of the football, which means they are likely to focus on offense this time around.
The offensive line was a little shaky last year and an upgrade at tackle and center would make a lot of sense. Which is more important will depend on the health of their young tackles who are recovering from injury.
Running back is a major need and the Packers should consider spending two picks in the top 4 rounds to finally address the massive hole in their offense. Additionally the corner and tight end position looks pretty thin all of a sudden (particularly from a long term perspective), so I’d expect some middle/late round picks be used to shore up that area.
