Denver Broncos Team Needs in 2013 NFL Draft
1. Defensive End
2. Inside Linebacker
3. Safety
4. Running Back
5. Defensive Tackle
6. Cornerback
7. Wide Receiver depth
With the loss of Elvis Dumervil, defensive end has become a pretty significant need for the Broncos. They desperately need an edge rusher to complement Von Miller if they want their defense to continue to succeed. Though Denver has some solid players at defensive tackle, they lack any sort of impact talent. Though not one of their bigger needs, if the right guy is available, they could add someone early.
Last year the Broncos biggest hole was their lack of a quality inside linebacker. Expect Denver to prioritize this position early in the draft, as it’s still a glaring need.
When RB Willis McGahee went down with injury last season, the Broncos running game ground to a halt. Though they drafted Ronnie Hillman last year, they could use another option here in case McGahee doesn’t come back the same.
While the Broncos secondary is solid, safety in particular could use an upgrade if they can find an impact option.
