Overall:
Tavon Austin is without a doubt a playmaker and could be one of the most productive offensive skill players in this draft. He should also be a safe bet to offer early impact, given his ability to help on special teams and and with special packages. Austin speed, acceleration and agility are all off the charts and make him a special weapon. The biggest issue facing Austin could be the team that drafts him. He needs to be used properly if he is going to produce, and asking him to be an outside deep threat isn’t his current strength. If Austin is allowed to spend the majority of his time in the slot and coming out of the backfield, he should be okay. Austin looks like a first round pick and could make him the first wide receiver selected.
