New York Jets FINAL 7-Round Mock Draft:

April 25, 2012

NEW YORK JETS FINAL 7-ROUND MOCK DRAFT:

1st Round:

16. New York Jets- OLB Courtney Upshaw, Alabama:

It’s really amazing that the Jets have been able to generate much pressure at all considering the lack of a truly great pass rusher. Outside of getting a better option at QB (and no Tim Tebow isn’t that answer), the Jets need to come away with a pass rusher this offseason. Upshaw is a very impressive option. While some consider him a bit of a stretch at OLB, I think he will do well in the Jets system.

2nd Round:

47. New York Jets- RB David Wilson, Virginia Tech

3rd Round:

77. New York Jets- WR Nick Toon, Wisconsin

5th Round:

154. New York Jets- G Adam Gettis, Iowa

6th Round:

187. NY Jets (from Indy)- WR T.J. Graham, NC State

202. New York Jets (comp)- ILB Vontaze Burfict, Arizona State

203. New York Jets (comp)- S Kelcie McCray, Arkansas State

7th Round:

232. NY Jets (via Denver Broncos) – ILB Darius Fleming, Notre Dame

242. New York Jets (Comp.) – CB Cliff Harris, Oregon

244. New York Jets (Comp.) – CB Jeremy Lane, Northeastern
