32 On the Clock Mocks: Washington Football Team

April 21, 2021:

It is NFL Draft crunch time! Which means we are going to do a mock draft for all 32 teams using On the Clock of course! We will be using On the Clock Premium or Ultimate GM in these simulations, which you can upgrade to an annual subscription here!

These simulations will help give fans an idea of how the draft can play out for their team and give different scenarios to debate. So, enjoy and happy NFL Draft week!

On the Clock Premium simulation summary

Washington fixes their massive hole at LT with grabbing Darrisaw in the 1st round. They were able to get by last season with subpar LT play, but that is unlikely going to be repeatable. Darrisaw won’t immediately fill Trent Williams shoes, but he does have the potential to be extremely good. Meinerz in the 3rd could convert to LG to help solidify that position long term.

Jamin Davis should quickly become a starter and leader of the defense, fixing one of the few weaknesses on defense that Washington has. Players like Cisco, Johnson and Yeboah can all contribute a little as well.
