Rapid Reaction: Round 2- Picks 57-64
57. St. Louis Rams (Carolina Panthers): OT Rob Havenstein
-The Rams desperately needed OL help and Havenstein is a good RT prospect, but he was considered more of a 4th round value so this is a bit high on him. He may max out as a solid starter which you could probably find a round or two later.
Grade: C+
58. Arizona Cardinals (Philadelphia Eagles): DE Markus Golden
-Golden is a good pass rusher and that is a need for the Cardinals but this was a round or two of a reach. There were other better pass rushers on the board for the Cards to choose from.
Grade: C+
59. Denver Broncos: OT Ty Sambrailo
-Sambrailo is a bit undersized and will be overmatched by power, but he’s a nice value here and could even kick inside. The Broncos definitely needed OL help.
Grade: B+
60. Dallas Cowboys: DE Randy Gregory
-Randy Gregory has plenty of question marks, but the talent is there and if he can take football seriously he could be a steal here.
Grade: A-
61. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Via Indianapolis Colts): G Ali Marpet
-The Bucs trade up for another offensive lineman and land the small schooler Ali Marpet. Marpet has a lot of upside and should see the field quickly in Tampa.
Grade: A-
62. Green Bay Packers: CB Quinten Rollins
-The Packers land another defensive back here. Rollins is raw but can play either corner or safety and if you give him a year to develop he could turn into a nice prospect.
Grade: B+
63. Seattle Seahawks: DE Frank Clark
-Frank Clark has the athleticism you want in an edge guy, but his off the field issues are considerable. This is a major risk for the Seahawks who were without a first round pick.
Grade: D-
64. New England Patriots: S Jordan Richards
-Richards was a solid safety and could project well as a box safety and special teamer, but he was more of a 5th or 6th round player, so this is a massive reach for the Patriots.
