Final Washington Redskins Mock Draft
Here is Fanspeak’s full, final 2013 Washington Redskinsn Mock Draft:
51. Washington Redskins- S D.J. Swearinger, South Carolina
85. Washington Redskins- OT David Bakhtiari, Colorado
119. Washington Redskins- CB Leon McFadden, San Diego State
154. Washington Redskins- DT Kwame Geathers, Georgia
162. Washington Redskins (via Patriots)- OT Reid Fragel, Ohio State
191. Washington Redskins- S Cooper Taylor, Richmond
228. Washington Redskins- RB Ray Graham, Pitt
-For me the Redskins need to balance needs and value. D.j. Swearinger is a bit of a reach in the 2nd round, but he does fill a major need for the Redskins weakened secondary. After that I look for the Redskins to add some offensive line help, as currently their tackle depth chart behind Trent Williams, is a collection of subpar guys. In the 4th round I look for the Redskins to add a corner who can hopefully take over in 2014 when their top three corners are free agents. Grabbing a NT like Kwame Geathers makes a lot of sense, as the Redskins run defense could stand to be improved. Geathers is the nephew of former Redskin Jumpy Geathers making him a nice sentimental pick as well. Finally in the 7th round I think the Redskins add their running back complement to Alfred Morris with Pitt RB Ray Graham. Graham is more of quick/shifty back who should help in the passing game as well.
