- Delivery isn’t as clean as some other quarterbacks.
Overall:
Coming into the season Wilson looked like a safe bet for a first round pick, but with all the controversy at Arkansas the team just simply collapsed. Wilson’s numbers took a hit (though not as bad as some other areas of the team), and his draft stock went with it. Wilson rebounded with a strong Senior Bowl week, but it might not be enough to save him as a first round prospect. Wilson though does have a lot of the traits you look for in a good starting quarterback, including his arm strength, accuracy, and timing. He can get a little to errant in his throws and will have to not try to challenge as much at the next level as it will lead to an increase in turnovers. Wilson possess the potential to be a good starting quarterback and I really believe he will reach that goal. He may not go in the first round or even two, but he should end up being a quality option for some team.
