Analysis:

What do you get for the team that has everything? Best Player Available. The 49ers are one of the most talented teams top to bottom in the NFL, and really don’t have any glaring weaknesses. One area that could be a concern is their secondary. While it is a very talented bunch, it is probably the least talented position group on defense (which speaks volumes of how talented their LB’s and DL are). Also Dashon Goldson is an impending free agent, which could significantly weaken the group. If he’s retained then it will likely change the draft strategy, but if he walks a guy like Matt Elam would be a great replacement. Kyle Long would be a nice addition to a strong offensive line, and give them the versatility to plug him just about anywhere.
