1. Kansas City – DT Star Lotulelei, Utah

-A quarterback may be tempting, but Lotulelei, is the best player in this class. Regardless of the direction of the Chiefs next year, he will fit that defense, and give Kansas City a high impact defender to build around.

2. Jacksonville- OLB Jarvis Jones, Georgia

-The Jaguars inability to get to the quarterback hurts them week-in-week-out and has to be Jacksonville’s number 1 priority this off-season. Jones is a special talent and has the upside to completely take over a game.

3. Oakland- OLB Barkevious Mingo, LSU

-The Raiders will be tempted by a quarterback, but a top notch pass rusher makes the most sense here. There are a couple good options, but I think they will go with Mingo here.

4. Philadelphia- QB Geno Smith, WVU

-The Eagles need to begin the rebuilding process and a great way to do that would be with Geno Smith. Smith is a smart senior, who knows how to spread the ball around and can make all the throws. He’s not a perfect prospect, and needs the right system, but he can have a major impact at the next level.

5. Carolina- DT Jonathan Hankins, Ohio State

-The Panthers interior line is a major weakness and something Carolina should fix this offseason. Hankins has star potential, and would be a very welcome addition to this defense. There may be some consideration for an offensive tackle here, but I think defense wins out there.

6. San Diego- OT Luke Joeckel, Texas A&M

-The Chargers LT experiment with Jared Gaither failed, leaving them with a massive hole on an already weakened line. Adding the top offensive tackle in the draft is exactly what the Chargers need to do.

7. Cleveland- LB Manti Te’o, Notre Dame

-The Browns have a strong defense, but adding Manti Te’o would be a huge coup for them. He’s a great leader and would be a wonderful piece to build around in Cleveland. He can also play strongside linebacker allowing him and Jackson to play together.

8. Tennessee- DT John Jenkins, Georgia

-The Titans are weak at the point of attack and could use a star tackle. Jenkins has that potential and looks to be a dominating run stuffer.

9. Arizona- QB Matt Barkley, USC

-The Cards need to spend all their resources on fixing their QB and OL issues. Though some linemen could be tempting, it is likely they will grab Barkley if he’s still on the board.

10. Detroit- CB Dee Millner, Alabama

-Lions secondary is awful and Millner is the top corner, making this one of the quickest selections to the podium come April.

11. Buffalo-DE Damontre Moore, Texas A&M

-Mario Williams should be back in full form next year, but it would be great if the Bills could add another top notch edge rusher to balance him out. Moore has had a great year this season, and can be the dominating pass rusher teams are looking for.

12. New Orleans- DE Bjoern Werner, FSU

-The Saints aren’t generating a pass rush this year, if they have a shot at Werner they have to grab him (or any other top pass rusher).

13. Miami- WR Keenan Allen, Cal

Brian Hartline is solid, but the Dolphins and Ryan Tannehill need a dynamic playmaker, and that could be Keenan Allen.

14. New York Jets- OLB Sam Montgomery, LSU

-This pick will depend on who the new coach is, but a guy like Montgomery works well in both an odd and even man front.

15. St. Louis- OT Jake Matthews, Texas A&M

-Jeff Fisher needs to invest in offensive linemen, so why not the son of one of your All pro talents from your Houston/Tennessee days.

16. St. Louis – from Washington- OG Chase Warmack, Alabama

-The Rams offensive line is their biggest weakness so why not double down with this excellent value pick. That would turn the Rams biggest weakness to one of their top strengths.
