Picks 1-1617-32

17. Chicago Bears- OT Bobby Wagner, Wisconsin

– The Bears offensive line still looks to be a weakness and should be addressed early in the draft. Wagner would give Chicago two bookend maulers from Wisconsin.

18. Dallas Cowboys- S T.J. McDonald, USC

-The Cowboys addressed their CB needs, but still need an impact safety

19. San Diego Chargers- CB Jonathan Banks, Mississippi State

-The Chargers could use some secondary help and Banks is a nice fit as he can be a smart physical corner, who can take advantage of the pressure the Chargers generate.

20. Atlanta Falcons- G Jonathan Cooper, UNC

-The Falcons need to keep strengthening their offensive line, and Cooper is a very athletic and talented guard prospect..

21. Baltimore Ravens- OLB Jackson Jeffcoat, Texas

-Who knows how Terrell Suggs recovers from his injury, adding another pass rusher should be a premium.

22. Detroit Lions- WR Justin Hunter, Tennessee

-Titus Young has already had issues with the team and as the cap tightens, paying good money to a guy like Burleson may no longer make sense. A potential star WR to pair next to Calvin Johnson makes a lot of sense here. Especially now with the rookie cap in place.

23. Cincinnati Bengals-LB Nico Johnson, Alabama

-The Bengals don’t project to have many needs, but I think that LB will be up there. Johnson gives the Bengals a young athletic, rangey backer who can replace Rivers.

24. Kansas City Chiefs-S Robert Lester, Alabama

-The Chiefs need to find a future QB, but if they finish in the playoffs they might have to wait until the 2nd round. Expect them to be active in the trading department to move up, but if they were to stay hear pairing Lester with Eric Berry would almost be unfair.

25. Philadelphia Eagles-LB Manti Te’o, Notre Dame

-A lot will depend on how the Eagles defense performs next year, but I think they could still be looking LB.

26. New Orleans Saints- DE Brandon Jenkins, FSU

-Pass rushers should be the Saints top target next year and Jenkins is a nice fit.

27. New England Patriots- OG Chance Warmack, Alabama

-The Patriots went defensive heavy in this draft which means I think they turn their attention to the offense next year. With Matt Light already retired and Brian Waters and Dan Koppen not far behind, the Patriots will need to add some new bodies to their line.

28. San Francisco 49ers- OT Taylor Lewan, Michigan

-The 49ers don’t have a lot of needs, but could use some help on the offensive line. If Anthony Davis doesn’t produce this year at tackle, the 49ers might consider moving him inside to get the most out of him. Lewan would would be a great replacement on the outside, and give the 49ers a really good young line.  .

29. New York Giants- DT Kwame Geathers, Georgia

-Not a major need here at DT, but a good value pick. Geathers could team with former 2nd round picks Linval Joseph and Marvin Austin to form a devastating three man rotation.

30. Houston Texans- WR Terrence Williams, Baylor

-The Texans picked up some mid-round WR’s but should consider taking a top guy next year. Pairing Williams with Andre Johnson would be a great combo.

31. Pittsburgh Steelers- DE Margus Hunt, SMU

-The Steelers probably will need to replace Ziggy Hood next year, as he’s been a major disappointment thus far. A 5-tech guy like Hunt would have to really intrigue the Steelers has he has incredible athleticism and untapped potential. Playing him along with Heyward could set this defense up for the next 8 years.

32. Green Bay Packers- RB Marcus Lattimore, South Carolina

-This is a great value pick if Lattimore proves himself healthy. A stable rushing attack is the one thing the Packers are lacking.
