Green Bay Packers FINAL 7-Round NFL Mock Draft:

April 24, 2012

GREEN BAY PACKERS FINAL 7-ROUND MOCK DRAFT:

1st Round:

#28. – OLB Whitney Mercilus, Illinois:

The Packers could look at a corner or 5-tech DE here, but I think they might reach a bit for a pass rusher. Mercilus is a slight reach, but he fills the Packers biggest need. He’s an accomplished pass rusher, who takes good pursuit angles. Teaming him up with Matthews would be a major boost for this defense. Given this being a bit of a reach, don’t be surprised if the Packers look to move up for one of the bigger name pass rushers.

2nd Round:

#59. – DE Jared Crick, Nebraska

3rd Round:

#90. – CB Chase Minnifield, UVA

4th Round:

#123. – DE/DT Kheeston Randall, Texas

#132. (comp)- QB Russell Wilson, Wisconsin

#133. (comp)- ILB James Michael Johnson, Nevada

5th Round:

#163. – OLB Jake Bequette, Arkansas

6th Round:

#197. – RB Brandon Bolden, Ole Miss

7th Round:

#224. (via NY Jets) – FS Eddie Whitley, Virginia Tech

#235. – DE Matt Conrath, UVA

#241. (Comp.) – CB D’Anton Lynn, Penn State

#243. (Comp.) – G Derek Dennis, Temple
