Pros:

  • Incredibly advanced signal caller, allowed to call many of his own plays in college
  • Excelled in a pro-style offense
  • Very good size
  • Extremely athletic, capable of making plays with his feet
  • Advanced pocket presence, feels pressure very well
  • Looks off safeties in coverage
  • Makes good progressions
  • Can make all the NFL throws
  • Has very advanced touch and accuracy

Cons:

  • Arm strength only grades out as very good.

 

Analysis:

Andrew Luck is a very special prospect as in addition to having elite tools, he is extremely pro ready. Luck really is a ‘once in a generation’ talent, and there should be little question in selecting him first overall. He has all the makings of an elite quarterback, and should quickly become one of the top 5 quarterbacks in the league.
