NOTE: Fanspeak.com will be covering the Senior Bowl LIVE in Mobile, Alabama the week of Jan. 23! Be sure to check out our full Senior Bowl coverage!
33. St. Louis Rams- RB Lamar Miller, Miami
The Rams still have Steven Jackson, but he’s getting up there in age, and St. Louis could use another dynamic runner. Adding Miller to Jackson could make the Rams running game very formidable.
34. Indianapolis Colts- WR Mohamed Sanu, Rutgers
Basically the entire Colts receiving corps is heading to unrestricted free agency this year, meaning Indy will be looking to to add a receiver early. Sanu has great potential, and should develop nicely with Andrew Luck.
35. Minnesota Vikings-OT Mike Adams, Ohio State
The Vikings need to find a LT if they want their offense to function, Adams is a little raw but he’d be a big upgrade.
36. Tampa bay Buccaneers- SS Mark Barron, Alabama
The Bucs secondary has been a huge mess this year, and Barron is a great value at this pick. Barron has the potential to be a star in this league, and will make Tampa that much better on defense.
37. Cleveland Browns- RB David Wilson, Virginia Tech
The Browns running game is a huge question mark going forward, and needs to be addressed in their first couple picks. Wilson is a great option for them at the top of the 2nd round, and really could give Cleveland a great young offense.
38. Jacksonville Jaguars- DT Dontari Poe, Memphis
The Jags could go in a number of directions, but their defensive tackles took a step back this year and they should consider to add to that need early. Poe is a great run stopper, and should make an early impact for Jacksonville.
39. Washington Redskins- QB Ryan Tannehill, Texas A&M
The Redskins might need to trade up for Tannehill (or more likely trade back from the first round), but he’d be an excellent fit for the Redskins offense, and coach Mike Shanahan will have an up close look at Tannehill when he coaches him at the Senior Bowl in a couple weeks.
40. Carolina Panthers- G Brandon Washington, Miami
The Panthers offensive line isn’t awful, but they could use some improvements at the guard spot. Washington has a lot of upside and should be able to start right away.
41. Buffalo Bills- OLB/DE Andre Branch, Clemson
This could be a slight reach for the Bills, but Buffalo is desperate for a big time pass rusher. Branch fits that need to a ‘T’ and will be an excellent addition to Buffalo’s defense.
42. Miami Dolphins- CB Jayron Hosely, Virginia Tech
The Dolphins corners are average at best, and could use a significant upgrade.
43. Seattle Seahawks- QB Nick Foles, Arizona
The Seahawks missed out on a first round QB, but I can’t see them ignoring the position completely.
44. Kansas City Chiefs-OT Zebrie Sanders, FSU
The Chiefs need to add a tackle early in the draft and Sanders is a good value pick for this spot.
45. Dallas Cowboys- DE Jared Crick, Nebraska
Cowboys could go in a number of directions, but they could use an impact defensive lineman.
46. Philadelphia Eagles- ILB Don’ta Hightower, Alabama
The Eagles linebackers were a joke last year, and one of the biggest reasons the ‘dream team’ never became a reality. Adding Hightower would be a huge addition for Philly.
47. New York Jets- WR Rueben Randle, LSU
The Jets receiving corps could be in a huge state of flux this year, and Randle could be a nice addition for New York.
48. New England Patriots (via Oakland)- CB Stephon Gilmore, South Carolina
The Patriots secondary needs to be overhauled, and adding another young CB will be a priority this draft.
49. San Diego Chargers- ILB Bobby Wagner, Utah State
The Chargers could continue to look at reshaping their linebacking corps, and Wagner’s a nice pick here. He’s quickly moving up draft boards and should be a force in the middle for years to come.
50. Chicago Bears-TE Coby Fleener, Stanford
The Bears are now going back to an offensive philosophy that requires a TE, so look for that to be on their wish list.
51. Philadelphia Eagles (via Arizona)- WR Nick Toon, Wisconsin
DeSean Jackson might be on his way out, in which case Philly will look to add a WR early in April’s draft.
52. Tennessee Titans- C Ben Jones, Georgia
The Titans offensive line is one of the better units in the league, but they do have a weakness at the pivot. Adding Jones could make this unit elite and make the transition to Jake Locker pretty smooth.
53. Cincinnati Bengals- RB Chris Polk, Washington
The Bengals need to start to move on from Cedric Benson, and Polk would be a nice addition here. He looks to be an every down, work horse back, and could give Cincy the balanced offense they need.
54. Detroit Lions- OT Andrew Datko, FSU
The Lions need to add an offensive tackle early, and Datko is a nice choice because of his upside. He was injured this past year, otherwise he might have been in first round consideration.
55. Atlanta Falcons- TE Dwayne Allen, Clemson
Tony Gonzalez might look to hang them up after this year, which would leave a pretty big void in the Falcons passing attack.
56. Pittsburgh Steelers-DT Josh Chapman, Alabama
The Steelers need to find a good young NT, and Chapman looks to be the perfect fit for them.
57. Denver Broncos- RB LaMichael James, Oregon
When you run as much as Denver does you can never have enough running backs. Especially when one (Moreno) is coming off a serious injury, and the other (McGahee), is now on the other side of 30. James would be a nice complementary back to McGahee and really give this read option the weapons they need.
58. New York Giants-LB LaVonte David, Nebraska
The Giants could use an upgrade at the linebacking position and David is a great value pick here.
59. Houston Texans- DT Alameda, Ta’amu, Washington
The Texans could use an upgrade at nose tackle and Ta’amu is the best guy available (and there is a pretty big drop off after him).
60. Baltimore Ravens- OLB Ronnell Lewis, Oklahoma
The Ravens need to find a book end pass rusher to Suggs and Lewis is the best name still on the board.
61. San Francisco 49ers- WR Dwight Jones, UNC
The 49ers didn’t find their receiver in Braylon Edwards, but that doesn’t mean they should keep looking. Jones is a fantastic value pick at this spot, and adding him to Crabtree could help balance this offense.
62. New Orleans Saints- DT Kawaan Short, Purdue
The Saints could use a long term solution at defensive tackle as two of their top 3 guys are free agents this year.
63. New England Patriots- DE Billy Winn, Boise State
New England needs to keep building up this defense, and Winn is a good versatile player who can play in both the 3-4 and 4-3 alignments.
64. Green Bay Packers- CB Jamell Fleming, Oklahoma
The Packers secondary has been pretty weak this year, and Green Bay should look to address that early.
