1. Owen Marecic, Stanford- 3rd-4th round
2. Henry Hynoski, Pittsburgh- 4th round
3. Anthony Sherman, Connecticut- 4th-5th round
4. Charles Clay, Tulsa- 5th round
5. Robert Hughes, Notre Dame- 5th-6th round
6. Stanley Havili, USC- 6th round
7. Shaun Chapas, Georgia- 6th-7th round
8. Prenston Dial, Alabama- 7th round
Overview:
Unlike most years there is some very good talent at the fullback position. I think we will see at least 5 starters come from this draft class, which is a lot higher than you’d expect. Now I am guessing that some of these mid-round guys fall to the late rounds, but that will only make them better values for smart teams late in the draft. I think there is a small gap between the top three fullbacks and everyone else as they are the most complete players.
