Best Ball Free Agency Losers

In best ball we want to target offenses and teams that lift up their weapons and give them more opportunities to score fantasy points by sustaining drives and scoring touchdowns. We highlighted these players and teams that were the winners after NFL Free Agency in terms of best ball rankings.

Running Backs Replaced or High Profile RB Added – Tyjae Spears (Titans), Khalil Herbert (Bears), Ty Chandler (Vikings)

Respectively, veteran running backs Tony Pollard, D’Andre Swift and Aaron Jones essentially replaced the RBs above as their teams’ RB1.

QB Justin Fields

This one is obvious, as of now, Fields is the back-up in Pittsburgh to Russell Wilson.

Vikings Weapons

Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and TJ Hockenson all have a major downgrade at quarterback after the Vikings lost Kirk Cousins in free agency. QB Sam Darnold should be serviceable and certainly an improvement over the Vikings’ backup QBs last year. They could also add a QB in the draft, but the immediate impact is a downgrade for the Vikings’ weapons.

Broncos Weapons

With Russell Wilson and Jerry Jeudy leaving in free agency, the offense for the Broncos in 2024 is a big question mark. We’ll see how they address the QB and WR positions in the 2024 NFL Draft.
