Fantasy Football Questions: QB Edition

1- Which guys should you use a top 15-20 pick on?

First of all Tom Brady is an easy selection as the Pats have made it even easier for him to put up huge numbers by adding Brandin Cooks.  Also, Gronk will be back from injury as well.  Remember last year with the suspension he was a mid round pick in many drafts.  And Aaron Rodgers of course should be taken high.  He may have family issues but he doesn’t have fantasy issues.  And honestly that is all I would jump on quick.

2- Who is a guy to grab mid rounds?

I like Marcus Mariota a lot.  I don’t think this is any new news to most people.  The Titans are building a solid offense around him.  Plus they added Corey Davis and Eric Decker to help him out.  Cam Newton is ranking a lot lower than a year ago coming off of a MVP year.  I bet he bounces back in 2017 as the Panthers should be a better team than last years problems.

3- Who am I wary of?

I am nervous about Ben Roethlisberger.  He still has a solid crew to work with but I have concerns.  Is he really excited to be back as he debated retirement.  Maybe its more of a state of the Steelers than a fantasy question.  I am not in a rush to jump on Dak Prescott either.  Even though he had a monster rookie season I have to see more before I am ready to make him an every week starter.  QBs have taking a dip in their second year even though Dak looks to be different.

4- What late round guys could surprise?

Carson Wentz should be one to watch.  He started off great last season then fizzled.  The Eagles gave him a couple wideouts in free agency to help out so Wentz should be interesting to watch going forward.  How about Tyrod Taylor?  Sounds crazy and a real flier but he is playing for his job now.  He has shown in the past to do some things.  He will need to get off to a solid start to be the man still in Buffalo.
