Draftkings and Fanduel value plays Week 8
QB:
Brian Hoyer (DK-$5,300, FD- $6,900), Jay Cutler (DK- $5,200, FD- $7,300), Teddy Bridgewater (DK- $5,100, $-6,900), Ryan Fitzpatrick (DK-$5,200, FD- $7,400)
-There aren’t a lot of great option at quarterback this week if you want to save some money, but these four are all intriguing and save you a little bit on both sites. Hoyer is a guy who might be the most overlooked as too much respect is being given the Titans defense. The Texans lost their top running back and will likely look to feature their elite receiver DeAndre Hopkins more in this game. Cutler is also interesting as the Vikings defense is good, but the Bears figure to need to pass in this game so the opportunity will be there.
RB:
Jonathan Stewart (DK-$4,100, FD-$6,600), Shane Vereen (DK-$4,100, FD-$5,500), Danny Woodhead (DK-$4,500, FD-$6,100), Duke Johnson (DK-$4,200, FD-$5,800)
-There are a lot of top or 2nd tier backs with really good match-ups, but it you need to save some money there are a few decent options. Stewart is the volume guy, who’s priced low because he doesn’t always get TDs or is too involved in the passing game. The positive here is the volume is high so if he gets the TDs he can present a big value. Vereen, Woodhead and Johnson are all passing catching backs who get enough targets to make them playable. The issue with them is they really still need a TD to pay off, and that is tougher to predict with them.
WR:
Stephon Diggs (DK-$4,800, FD-$6,700), Willie Snead (DK-$4,500, FD-$5,800), Roddy White (DK-$3,900, FD-$5,200), Stevie Johnson (DK-$3,200, FD-$5,900)
-Diggs is starting to become a legitimate number one option and he’s still underpriced on both sites. This should be another good week for him as the match-up is positive the Vikings should put the ball in the air some. Snead is coming off a down week, but his volume is really high and worth the chance. White and Johnson are number 2 receivers in great match-ups. They’ve been inconsistent this year, but both figure to be helped out by a key injury. The Chargers are without Gates and the Falcons are without Hankerson this week meaning there will be more targets to go around.
