We know that a way to get massive leverage in Underdog Fantasy Battle Royale contests is to scroll down and select a player that will be very low-owned/drafted. Getting unique at even just one position/player can be very powerful. Though this first week with a full slate, you could certainly scroll down at multiple positions.

This is especially powerful for the 6-man contests. But this list can help find other good players to target in the 12-man drafts or get some leverage in those 12-man drafts as well.

Here are my favorite scroll-down candidates at each position for Underdog Battle Royale Week 1 contests.

Quarterback:

–Tua Tagovailoa

-Jayden Daniels

-Caleb Williams

–Trevor Lawrence

–Kirk Cousins

–Baker Mayfield

–Sam Darnold

-Will Levis

–Justin Herbert

Of these QBs, I love targeting Mayfield and Darnold in two of the best matchups for QBs this week, vs. the Commanders and vs. the Giants respectively. You also can pair them with an elite receiver in Justin Jefferson or Mike Evans.

Running Back:

–Joe Mixon

-James Conner

–Raheem Mostert

–Najee Harris

-Zach Moss

-Chubba Hubbard

-Either Chargers RB – Edwards or Dobbins

My favorite picks here are Joe Mixon, James Conner, or Raheem Mostert because you get leverage on their team’s stacks from the passing game that are likely 100% owned or close to it.

Wide Receiver:

-DJ Moore

-Either Texans WR that is going undrafted in your room – Tank Dell or Stefon Diggs

–Amari Cooper

–George Pickens

–Chris Godwin

-Calvin Ridley

–Josh Palmer

-Jordan Addison

The receiver position will be super interesting this week. Usually we just want to draft two of them in Battle Royale. But it’s so deep this week, you could make a case for 3 receivers. Most of this list should be lower owned and that’s wild considering the names and potential spike week upside.

Tight End:

–Dalton Schultz

-Pat Friermuth

–Zach Ertz

-Cade Otten

–Jonnu Smith

The furthest I’d probably dive here is Ertz. I could see him being an outlet for the rookie QB and redzone target and he’ll be next to no-owned. Schultz will be owned some, but not 100%, and in the high game total and leverage off the other Texans’ receivers and Mixon.
