Brendan Sorsby and Byrum Brown are compared here on Fanspeak's 2027 NFL Draft data — body measurements, position-relevant college production, the community consensus big board, average draft position across thousands of mock drafts, and how often each prospect shows up in those mocks. Rather than one scout's take, the matchup reflects where the draft community as a whole values each player.
Consensus rank is the cleanest single signal: a lower number means the crowd boards the prospect earlier. ADP layers in mock-draft behavior, and mock-draft volume tells you which prospect the community is paying attention to. The stat comparison checks the winner of each metric.
Byrum Brown, a redshirt Sophomore quarterback for South Florida, has shown remarkable prowess in the Pro Spread offense. Brown stands out as the only returning QB in the Group of Five conferences who posted an adjusted completion percentage over 72% (72.4%) and an average depth of target over 10.5 yards (10.9) last season. Known for his slippery agility, Brown's dynamic playmaking ability has been a cornerstone for the Bulls. Unfortunately, his season took a downturn when he suffered a leg injury during the 3rd quarter of South Florida's 45-10 loss to Tulane.
