Best pass blocking grade after not allowing any Iowa pressures in scouted win. Trusting the Process started playing tackle in third grade, and joined a travel squad in middle school. Some balance and lean issues Kromer can fix. Favorite song is from Footloose: Holding Out For a Hero by Bonnie Tyler. Sparks: "one of the most reliable trench players in the class, even with some length questions that will need answering.".
Put any two prospects head-to-head — a 2027 NFL Draft hopeful or anyone on a 2026 NCAA roster — and Fanspeak stacks their position-relevant stats and Draft Simulator signals in one view.
Choose any two players from the 2027 NFL Draft class or the 2026 NCAA roster — search by name or tap a suggestion. Pick one and the other slot narrows to the same position so the matchup stays like-for-like.
Their measurements and 2026 college production line up side-by-side — only the stats that matter for the position, with the winner of each row checked.
Weigh the community's read: Fanspeak Consensus rank, position rank, ADP, mock-draft volume, hype, and the NFL team each prospect gets drafted to most.
Carter Smith and Bray Lynch are compared here on Fanspeak's 2027 NFL Draft data — body measurements, position-relevant college production, the community consensus big board, average draft position across thousands of mock drafts, and how often each prospect shows up in those mocks. Rather than one scout's take, the matchup reflects where the draft community as a whole values each player.
Consensus rank is the cleanest single signal: a lower number means the crowd boards the prospect earlier. ADP layers in mock-draft behavior, and mock-draft volume tells you which prospect the community is paying attention to. The stat comparison checks the winner of each metric.
When matching up against Iowa and Wisconsin, Indiana right guard Bray Lynch faced two vastly different defensive structures. Iowa leaned heavily on a senior-heavy, elite defensive front (his assignment was often Aaron Graves), while Wisconsin leaned on an explosive linebacker group. Appeared in 38 career games with 29 starts. Part of an offensive line that was named semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award in back-to-back seasons (2024 & 2025), with finalist honors in 2025. 2025 (Junior Season): Season: Started all 16 games at right guard. Part of an offensive line unit that paved the way for four-straight 300-yard rushing efforts to start the season - a program-record streak and longest Power 4 stretch since Baylor in 2017. Six 300-yard rushing games are the most in a single season in Indiana history. Helped IU post multiple rushing touchdowns in 12 of 15 games in 2025. Earned Academic All-Big Ten. Lynch was playing with 'loose bodies' in his ankle last year. While his play slipped a bit after a stellar 2024, he won't makes excuses or point to his ankle as the reason why. But now he's healthy and ready for his senior year. Media outlets like On3 and 247Sports name him alongside Carter Smith as one of Indiana's top pro prospects.
